I like looking out the windows during car trips. It keeps me surprisingly entertained as long as I'm in a decent mood. Especially if there is someone to talk to, even if only occasionally. I took this photo while Matt and I were driving Bess back to school after she had been home sick for a weekend. She's actually home again this weekend and it's nice to have her here. Plus, we just found out that Dan will be home for Thanksgiving, which means the whole gang will be together for four whole days! I'm looking forward to it.

In completely separate news, I'm trying to figure out what to do about Christmas cards this year. Last year was a trial run so far as making my own photo postcards for Christmas. Not everyone got one last year because I was still trying to use up old Christmas card stock, but I think this year almost everyone will get one. The trouble is that a perfect photo and idea isn't really presenting itself. I should probably get working or it will be too late to order them!
