before i get to the trip photos, i wanted to post this one. i just loved the smooth trunks of these trees in the tiny leaves of the green ground cover. the tiny leaved ground cover is called baby's tears and the tree is a camellia. i thought this particular camillia had a split trunk that looked like legs! don't those little knobs look like knees??
