De-Lurking Day, part 2
A lovely blogger friend of mine pointed me in the direction of two bloggers who have something to do with this de-lurking day: greeblemonkey and Rude Cactus. If you'll notice, greeblemonkey writes that she doesn't know who originally started it, but that her friend might have had something to do with restarting the trend. Plus, greeblemonkey apparently made that awesome logo of the flasher, which totally cracks me up.
I did a little more poking around and found an earlier example of de-lurking day over at veerle's blog from 2005 and she claims that Paper Napkin started it. Or at least she doesn't cite getting the idea from anyone else.
Anyway, that's as far as my research is going today. If you haven't commented on the other post and want to de-lurk here, that's good with me! This entry is really here to satisfy the history major parts of me that start to freak out if I don't cite my sources. :)
