Here or There

I went to the lake a few weeks ago, to get some space and some quiet. I'd been home too many days in a row, and hardly by myself at all. So off to the lake I went to escape. Although it was cold, it was so beautiful I mostly didn't mind the weather. I need to go back to see more ice on the lake. It was above freezing the day I was there and there was only thin patchy ice on the water. I love when the lake freezes over in the winter, but now that I don't live near there anymore, I forget to drive over to see. I'll just have to do better!
